mmmmm we stopped by for a quick lunch and it was pretty good to say the least!! relatively cheap, very fast service, and good portion sizes :) we tried the lo mein, teriyaki chicken, gyoza, and tofu. they were all good! my favorite was probably the chicken ! and there’s boba!! yum!! also we saw a cutesy dog while eating so there’s that. there’s seating inside the little shop as well as in the opening area in the middle of all of the stores! there’s also a bathroom in the big area. :)
I can’t sing enough praises for t-town honestly - I have tried just about everything on the menu by this point and it is all PHENOMENAL. The salad is always crisp and fresh, the rice is *always* cooked incredibly well, and every meat I’ve had has been grilled with care and love to absolute perfection. No matter what you get, you can’t go wrong! This is an Island institution that refuses to sacrifice or compromise on the quality of their food, and that rings through with their consistency as well. This is some of the best teriyaki I’ve had in my (almost) 30 years in Western Washington. It hits every spot. The spicy chicken is real spicy, not pretend spicy. It leaves my lips tingling afterwards and I live for that kind of spice in my life. The sauce and marinade is tasty, full of depth, and has a rich flavor profile without being saccharine or overwhelmingly sweet. It all has such a nice, delicate balance. I could eat t-town 7 days a week (if not for them being closed on Sundays). Absolutely stop here, and eat whatever sounds good to you - it’s sure to taste fantastic! (pics of all my takeout over the last 2-3 months some things i requested specifically for an additional fee on quiet days FYI)
This place is soooo good. I am Asian and I don’t lie about food. The kalbi is must get!!! Best I have had on the peninsula. They really load you up, I eat half way and took the picture, sorry it’s more than the picture. Empty the plate!!!!
The food was awesome. Everything we ordered was delicious.
IYKYK. T-Town has then a been an island gem for as long as I can remember. Big portions, yummy food, great family. Definitely order the gyoza.
Can be easily missed. No obvious visibility on yelp. Atrmo - interior is clean but a little run down. Service was quick and fast but the woman who helped me really didn't speak English. I didn't get exactly what I wanted but close enough because: Food was excellent. Had chix teriyaki and it was freshly cooked hot and sauce was quite perfectly flavorful. Hot quality tea as well.
A favorite lunch spot of mine. The spicy chicken and gyoza is my go to and a nice spot to eat there with hot tea but easy to take to go as well. Good value with large portions for the price and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Family took the ferry cross and we decided to get lunch here. Inexpensive, and the food was delicious. Our family of six enjoyed ourselves.
